Scooter in London -

'it is one of the best decisions you will
make'

‘I bought a scooter to commute in London and love it’

Having been a car commuter in London for many years I have witnessed two things – the increasing cost and the decreasing speed. So when faced with a new house, a new job in Covent Garden and a 3 year old girl I would like to see before bed, I had to find a way for cutting a  60 -90 minute journey to 30 minutes, and a scooter was the only solution.

Getting on a CBT course was easy; in fact, it took just 5 days from booking to the day of the course. And what a good idea the course is.  It quickly lets you know of the dangers of scootering in London and what techniques you’ll need to know to survive the car drivers.

Riding you scooter for the first time

Taking your scooter to work for the first time is a great experience. The freedom you feel and the different perspective on London is energising. Parking was easy as I get into town early and even better it is FREE. Not to mention the satisfaction of driving through congestion charge cameras without the £8 bill.

Satisfaction at the pump

I have been used to paying £40 - £50 a go when filling up the car. What a surprise when £6 filled the scooter to the brim and lasted all week.

If you are considering getting a scooter then you should just go for it – I promise it will put a smile on your face and buy you some extra time with the family or friends after all – save an hour a day is the same as 5 hours a week, 260 hours a year, or 32 eight hour days.

What are you waiting for?
